Full service - electric guitar setup
Here's a run through of the major steps involved in a full service setup for a fixed bridge electric guitar...
First things first, check how the action is right now at the 12th fret. Slightly high at just over 2mm on the bass side...
..and also on the treble side at just under 2mm.
Well, I missed out some other stuff, but it is hard to make an interesting picture out of checking and lubricating tuning machines, cleaning potentiometers and switches, etc. Also there are some extra steps for guitars with vibrato systems. But more or less that is it - the full service setup.
